Income guarantees for seniors and parents already exist. They’ve been proven to strengthen people, communities, and the economy. CERB’s rapid cash was a lifeline for individuals and the country. A permanent basic income will work even better. 

Affordable —

Canada has enough to make sure everyone has enough. The status quo harms people…and costs billions. Basic income is a sound investment in people with pay-offs in better health, social justice, the green transition, caring, creativity, education, entrepreneurship and innovation.
