Save the date! Saturday, May 14th, 2022 has been set as the next Ontario March for Basic Income. This time, we'll be rallying just a few short weeks before the provincial election on June 2nd. This is our opportunity to ensure that Basic Income receives the attention it deserves from the media, candidates and our fellow Ontarians during this critical campaign.
Many of the details are still being decided but we need you to register now and sign up to volunteer so that we can make sure this event is even more successful than our previous marches. Once again, this march will be organized through Basic Income Now, a coalition of Basic Income supporters and allied organizations. Together we are preparing to ensure that Basic Income is front and center during this election and that Ontarians will elect the most pro-Basic-Income Parliament yet!
When: Saturday, May 14th, 2022 - from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Queen’s Park, Toronto - North of the Legislative Assembly
Help us plan by registering now and forwarding this invitation your friends!
We’re also looking for volunteers including: group leaders, musicians, photographers, and videographers. If you’d like to contribute, please reach out to [email protected].
Can't make it to Toronto? We're also helping organize marches and rallies across the province. Sign up here for more information in the days and weeks ahead.
We can't wait to see you there!
